When the archaeologist tried to touch it, a loud sound filled the cave. The voice of Lord Ganesha was heard, and he said, “This sacred place has been disturbed. Only those with true devotion are allowed here, not those driven by curiosity or pride.”

The archaeologist became scared and asked for forgiveness, but it was too late. The walls of the cave started to close. He tried to run outside, but after leaving the cave, it was realized that his body had changed. He was turned into a stone statue.

The next morning, a new statue was found near the cave by the villagers. It was understood that the archaeologist had tried to uncover the cave’s secret and was cursed by Lord Ganesha.

To this day, it is believed that anyone who tries to reveal the mystery of the cave will face the same fate. Worship of Lord Ganesha is done with great devotion by the villagers, and the cave is never approached.

Whether the first head of Lord Ganesha is truly inside the cave or it is only a divine illusion remains a mystery.
